In September 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Star Snacks Company for allegedly deceptively marketing Imperial Nuts Energy Blend as containing mostly almonds, pecans, and walnuts when, according to the complaint, the product contains mostly peanuts. (Andrews et al v. Star Snacks Company, LLC, Case No. 20-cv1357, N.D. Ala.)
