In October 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Igloo Products for allegedly deceptively marketing that ice will stay frozen in its ice coolers for a specific period of time – such as “3 Day,” “5 Day,” “7 day” or “120 Hour” – during normal use when, according to the complaint, the coolers do not work as advertised. (Chung et al v. Igloo Products Corp., Case No. 20-cv-4926, E.D.N.Y.)
