In July 2014, a state judge preliminarily approved a settlement to a class-action lawsuit against Hollister, Co. The complaint, which was originally filed in 2010, alleges that, among other things, Hollister Co. failed to clearly mark the expiration dates on promotional gift cards. According to the settlement terms, class members may be eligible to receive a $20 gift card. A hearing for final approval of the settlement is scheduled for November 2014. (White et al. v. Hollister, Co. Case No. BC444368, Superior Court of the State of California, County of Los Angeles).
