A false advertising class-action lawsuit was filed against Health-Ade LLC for allegedly misleadingly advertising its kombucha beverages as healthy by representing that they contain less sugar than they actually do. Specifically, the complaint, which was originally filed in March 2018 and amended in June 2018, alleges that the company represents that the beverages contain 5-7 grams of sugar per serving when the drinks actually contain 11-13 grams of sugar per serving.
