In May 2017, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Little Caesar Pizza for allegedly labeling pizzas as “halal” (meaning that the meat is prepared according to halal guidelines) when, according to the plaintiffs, the pizzas contain pork (which is prohibited under halal guidelines).
