February 2017: The district court granted the companies’ motion for summary judgment finding that plaintiff did not establish that she relied on the alleged misrepresentations and that she did not demonstrate that defendants misled customers. July 2015: A false advertising class-action lawsuit was filed against Schwabe North America, Inc. and Nature’s Way Products, LLC. The complaint alleges that the companies falsely advertise Ginkgold® products – including Advanced Ginkgo Extract and Max Advanced Ginkgo Extract Max 120 mg – as able to improve memory and concentration, support mental sharpness, and support healthy brain activity when, according to the plaintiffs, the products do not work as advertised.
