In June 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against GermBloc and WillSpeed Technology for allegedly misleadingly marketing that GermBloc alcohol-free hand sanitizer kills “99.99% of germs” and prevents diseases when, according to plaintiffs, there is no scientific evidence to support such claims.
