Tesla Needs to Pull the Plug on Its Deceptive Made in USA Claims
TINA.org notifies electric vehicle maker for second time in three years.
In February 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Genesis California for allegedly deceptively representing that consumers who install solar panels will save on their energy bills when, according to the complaint, they do not save money and their bill actually increases after the panels are installed. Plaintiffs also claim that the company requires that consumers who do not speak English sign contracts that are written in English, in violation of California law. (De La Pena et al v. Genesis California, Case No. 18-cv-303, S.D. Cal.)
