September 2017: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Fruit Bliss (and amended in October) for allegedly deceptively using You know when you buy a big bag of chips, and you’re all psyched for a feast, and then it turns out there are like, three chips in the bag? That bag is slack filled.ed packaging for Fruit Bliss Organic fruit products. The complaint alleges that Fruit Bliss intentionally packages its Fruit Bliss Organic fruit products in opaque containers that contain approximately 50% empty space, and that the plaintiff even purchased a container of Fruit Bliss Organic Deglet Nour Dates that had nearly 80% empty space.
