October 2019: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Compass Group USA for allegedly failing to disclose that consumers who use credit, debit, or prepaid cards to pay for purchases from Canteen vending machines are charged additional fees and, thus, pay more than the displayed price. (Jilek et al v. Compass Group USA, Inc., Case No. 19STCV38382, California State Court – Los Angeles)
