Ergobaby Carriers
In late summer 2014, a class-action lawsuit was filed against The Ergo Baby Carrier Inc. for allegedly deceptively marketing the Ergobaby infant baby carrier. According to the complaint, the company does not adequately inform consumers that the baby carrier is not safe for babies who weigh less than 12 pounds without an additional sleeve insert. (Circelli-Hawkins v. The Ergo Baby Carrier Inc., et al, Case No. BC525894, Superior Court of the State of California).
