January 2016: The named plaintiff voluntarily dismissed this action When a complaint is dismissed with prejudice, it cannot be refiled.. The reasons for the dismissal have not been disclosed.
November 2015: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Egnyte, Inc. for, among other things, allegedly deceptively offering consumers monthly subscriptions for its file sharing system products without adequately disclosing the terms and cancellation policy of the subscriptions, in violation of California law. (Doe et al v. Egnyte, Inc. and Does 1-10, Case No. 15-cv-1828, C. D. CA.)
