In March 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Eat Real Snacks USA for allegedly misleadingly marketing EatReal snacks – including Quinoa Puffs, Quinoa Chips, Lentil Chips, and Hummus Chips – by representing that they are derived exclusively from quinoa, lentils, and chickpeas, as well as misrepresenting the benefits of such ingredients, when, according to the plaintiffs, the snacks contain more corn, potato, and rice ingredients than quinoa, lentils, and chickpeas.
