Dura-Touch® Armor Coating of Firearms

In August 2017, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Browning Arms Company for allegedly deceptively marketing Dura-Touch® Armor Coating for firearms as improving the grip and overall feel of firearms, and being “extremely durable” and suitable for all weather conditions and temperatures when, according to the complaint, the coating degrades and becomes sticky after several years of use. (Wilbourn et al v. Browning Arms Co., Case No. 17-cv-143, N. D. MS.)
