June 2015: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Kenneth Cole Productions, Inc. for allegedly falsely advertising discounts. Specifically, the complaint alleges the price tags compare the outlet price to a retail price that does not represent the price at which Kenneth Cole formerly sold the product or the prevailing market retail price within the three months immediately before the advertisement, as required by California law.
