Underwear seller strips a number of marketing claims after a TINA.org inquiry.
A false advertising class-action lawsuit was filed against Dashub, LLC in September 2018. According to the complaint, Dashub is a licensed automobile dealer that places bids on vehicles at auction on behalf of consumers, who are not permitted to place bids. Among other things, plaintiffs allege that Dashub claims it provides consumers with substantial savings by giving them “the opportunity to get [a] new car at the same prices that dealerships pay, usually for pennies on the dollar” when, according to the complaint, the dealer falsely inflates the winning bids in order to charge customers higher prices. (Ounis et al v. Dashub, LLC, Case No. 18-cv-5064, E.D.N.Y.)
