December 2015: This action was voluntarily dismissed because the parties reached a settlement agreement. The terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
May 2015: A false advertising class-action lawsuit was filed against Cricket Wireless, LLC. The complaint, which was transferred to federal court in June 2015, alleges that the company misleadingly marketed phones as “4G/LTE” (i.e., the phone would receive a 4G/LTE signal) when, in reality, the company did not have the capability to provide 4G/LTE services to a majority of customers.
