In November 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Coffee Meets Bagel (a dating service app that offers both a free membership and a paid, premium membership) alleging that the company violates Illinois state law by not including a three-day cancellation provision or providing refunds to consumers who cancel their premium subscription within three days of enrolling. (Rrapo et al v. Coffee Meets Bagel, Inc., Case No. 2018CH13834, Illinois State Court – Cook County)
