Chapstick Lip Balms with Sunscreen

In May 2019, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Wyeth Consumer Healthcare for allegedly misleadingly marketing – on the front of the package — that its Chapstick lip balm-sunscreen products provide protection from the sun for eight hours when, according to the plaintiffs, the back of the package contradicts this marketing and discloses that the products actually provide protection from the sun for only a period of two hours. (Engram et al v. Wyeth Consumer Healthcare LLC, Case No. 19-cv-2886, E. D. NY.)
