November 2016: A class-action lawsuit was filed against La Fe for allegedly falsely marketing canned octopus products – including Octopus in Garlic Sauce and Octopus in Olive Oil – as containing octopus when they actually contain jumbo squid. The lawsuit was transferred from state court to federal court in January 2017. (Saiz et al v.
