Allegations: False natural claims
In November 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against GSK Consumer Health for allegedly falsely advertising Benefiber prebiotic powders as “100% Natural” when, according to plaintiffs, the powders contain wheat dextrin, which is a synthetic ingredient. Later in the month, the complaint was voluntarily dismissed When a complaint is dismissed without prejudice, an amended version of the complaint can be refiled., the reasons for which have not been disclosed.
