Bags of Popcorners
In March 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against BFY Brands for allegedly misleadingly using You know when you buy a big bag of chips, and you’re all psyched for a feast, and then it turns out there are like, three chips in the bag? That bag is slack filled.ed packaging for Popcorners® products to make consumers believe they are getting more product than they actually are. According to the complaint, the bags contain 54% empty space. (Reaves et al v. BFY Brands, Inc., Case No. 18-cv-2065, S.D.N.Y.)
