In October 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Living Intentions for allegedly misleadingly marketing its Activated Superfood Nut Blend White Chocolate as containing white chocolate when, according to the complaint, the product does not contain real white chocolate, as defined by state and federal law. (Ruiz et al v. Living Intentions, LLC, Case No. 18-cv-9200, S.D.N.Y.)
