TINA.org Tells DOT: Don’t Muddy Airline Pricing
A proposed rule change could make it harder to know what you’ll actually pay for a flight.
TINA.org, together with First Amendment law professor Rebecca Tushnet, filed a comment with the U.S. Department of Transportation opposing its proposal to weaken the Full Fare Rule, which currently requires airlines to display the entire price of airfare – including all taxes and fees – as the most prominent figure in advertised prices.
