Orgain Kids Protein Organic Nutritional Shake
Allegations: Misleadingly marketing that products contain a specific amount of grass-fed protein
In October 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Orgain for allegedly falsely advertising that the flavoring ingredient in its Organic Nutrition Vanilla Shakes is vanilla when, according to plaintiffs, the ingredients list reveals that the shakes contain unspecified “Natural Flavor” instead of a vanilla ingredient. Plaintiffs also claim that the marketing for the shakes fails to disclose that they contain artificial flavors. (Jones et al v. Orgain, LLC, Case No. 20-cv-8463, S.D.N.Y.)
